Board – Chris Rasugu

Chris Rasugu is a seasoned financial and grants management professional with extensive experience managing international donor-funded programs for the past 20 years. He has worked in Kenya, Somalia and Chad on civil society, humanitarian aid and refugee programs. He has a proven track record with donor-funded programs in complex environments, with components in community peace dialogues, local organization, capacity building, economic development, advocacy, and good governance. He has demonstrated management flexibility and broad industry knowledge to lead numerous successful US and non-US funded programs cutting across emergency aid assistance to civil society programs. He is currently the Chief Finance Officer at NewQuest Business Advisory. He supports set-ups, Accounting, Tax and Audit for the Kenyan start-ups. He has also provided advisory services to Non-Profits in the region on Sub-award Management, Tax and Compliance. He also holds the Finance Advisory role in Idea Studio Foundation and treasurer of Wataalamu Sacco.
